Just a couple of years ago, I did a crazy thing. I had begun blogging in February of 2007 and alas! People began to read it. And comment on it! It was an amazing thing.
Then I stepped outside my comfort zone and had a meet up in Denver with some bloggers, who are now my very good friends. One of them is Joanne.
Joanne is a precious soul. She has a streak of caring that runs deeply. She doesn’t lay down and give up when life gets challenging, but she meets the challenges head on. And not only that, this girl is crafty! And purposeful. And loving. And praying. She is my very good friend.
So today, I was thrilled when my Chris caught a ride to work (our Durango is needing mechanical attention) and let me drive the car and our four to Arvada (outside of Denver) to Janna’s beautiful and charming home.
We were meeting up for a bloggy get-together and goodbye party for Joanne. She’s only going away for a year. But somehow, I feel a celebration is always in order to let Joanne know that she makes a difference in our lives. She really does…
A couple of years ago, I did a crazy thing. I met up with some local blogging friends. And I am so glad I did.
Joanne, we love you! We are proud of you and praying for a smooth transition for your family to Phoenix. May you find yourself soaked to the brim in joy there!
Thank you, sweet friend!
