When Holly Thompson of Holly Thompson Homes contacted me about updating her wordpress.com site to a WordPress.org site, I was delighted to serve her. You see, I could tell that Holly, like Anne, has so much scope for the imagination in her heart. I knew she was a kindred spirit at the start!
Holly and her husband Dave are Realtors, as well as home designers. They have been updating their home lately to be highlighted in a couple of major magazines, too! I was able to move her site and all her precious pictures without a loss of one picture, post or comment. I also used Photoshop to add a wonderful wash to some of her highlighted photos to create just the right feel that she was going for. Every step of the process, I walked through it with Holly and Dave and gave them my very best, making sure they understood the inner workings of their site and its integration with social media and with Mailchimp, ensuring they could do it themselves, too.
It was an honor to serve them and set up their site, migrating it and taking care of a lot of issues that come with such a large undertaking. My part in her site, after the migration, is simply putting the wonderful pieces together with this fabulous theme. Her designer created her beautiful logo.
